Kaleo Afro
From Lagos, Nigeria
His sound pairs sun-soaked, syncopated beats with warm basslines and bright synths, creating music that is both irresistibly danceable and emotionally resonant. The mood is celebratory and intimate at once—uplifting rhythms that invite movement while carrying stories of home and heart.
Kaleo Afro grew up in Lagos where childhood afternoons were filled with drum circles and rooftop impromptu performances; he taught himself production on a borrowed laptop and turned street-level rhythms into polished singles. He built his career by releasing infectious tracks online and playing energetic local shows that turned casual listeners into a devoted fan base.
