Veloriade
From Lisbon, Portugal
Their sound is effervescent pop—glittering synths, punchy rhythms, and singalong choruses—always carrying a wistful undercurrent that feels intimate and cinematic. Bright and nostalgic yet undeniably modern, their songs are equal parts dancefloor bait and midnight confidences.
Veloriade formed when three childhood friends and a barista-turned-saxophonist collided at a rainy Lisbon open-mic night, trading demo CDs and late-night pastries. They spent a year refining lo-fi demos in an attic studio before a spontaneous street performance clip went viral and turned their local buzz into national attention.
