Moirebrush
From Valparaíso, Chile
Their sound is warm and weathered — sun-faded guitar loops, crackling tape hiss, and slow, head-nodding beats layered with distant vinyl samples. The music feels like a midnight walk through foggy streets: intimate, melancholic, and quietly hopeful.
Moirebrush began when two art-school roommates and a night-shift barista started swapping cassettes and field recordings in a cramped top-floor studio. They taught themselves old tape machines and turned city noise into textured lullabies, releasing their first EP as a series of hand-stamped tapes sold at local zines.
